PUP services are available to families with an open Investigation, Family Support, Family Preservation, Permanency or Adoption Child Welfare case
PUP services include: emergency housing/financial assistance, temporary child care services, counseling, emergency transportation needs, emergency medical/dental needs and psychiatric/psychological testing, funding for drug screens, and assessments.
Provide critical support to Permanency or Family preservation with the intent of promoting:
1. Transportation Services:
Provided for DFCS clients who require assistance in transportation to and from appointments (doctor, dentist, counseling, etc.)
2. Hoteling Services:
Provided for the youth in DFCS services while long term placement is being determined.
3. Counseling:
Types of counseling services that may be utilized include: Individual, Child, Group, Family, Substance Abuse, Marital Counseling, Domestic Violence, Anger/Stress Management, Grief & Separation Management, Behavior Management, Trauma Focused Therapy
4. Other Services:
Provides preventive services to offer children a safe, stable and supportive family setting by promoting the well-being of the family.
